Shaper Assistant

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Shaper Assistant to join our team in Pula. As a Shaper Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Shaper to help shape and design surfboards for our clients. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is suitable for men with no language requirements, making it an ideal opportunity for foreigners looking to gain experience in the surfboard shaping industry. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Shaper in preparing materials and tools for surfboard shaping
- Shape and sand surfboard blanks according to specifications
- Apply fiberglass layers and resin to create a smooth finish
- Perform quality control checks on finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in surfboard shaping or carpentry is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced Shaper
- Basic English skills preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1000 per month, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
