Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and occupancy rates. Your main goal will be to attract new business and maintain relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in hotel sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, along with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and occupancy rates
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all guests
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market
- Manage the sales team and provide guidance on achieving targets
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, front office, and food & beverage to promote the hotel's services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of local tourism industry is an advantage
