Job Title: Seasonal Restaurant Manager


As a seasonal Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Almada. Your main goal will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a smooth and successful dining experience for our guests. You will also be in charge of managing and training the restaurant staff, maintaining inventory and supplies, and implementing company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt service and addressing any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Train, supervise, and evaluate staff members to ensure they are providing excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create work schedules for staff members based on business needs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize efficiency
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and quality control
- Implement company policies and procedures to maintain consistency in service standards

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and health regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this seasonal position.

This position is based in Almada but we welcome applicants from all nationalities who are eligible to work legally in Portugal.
