Surveyor Technician

As a Surveyor Technician, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data to create maps, plans, and reports for construction projects. You will work closely with surveyors and engineers to ensure accurate and reliable data is collected. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using various equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Collect and analyze data to create maps, plans, and reports
- Assist in designing survey methods and procedures
- Communicate with project teams to coordinate surveying efforts
- Utilize software programs for data processing and analysis
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surveyor or survey technician
- Proficiency with surveying equipment and software programs such as AutoCAD and GIS
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with project teams
- Physically fit to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
