Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers who are experiencing technical issues with their computer systems or software. You will troubleshoot problems, provide solutions and advice, and escalate issues when necessary. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of computer systems and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email or chat
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Provide step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting technical problems
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
- Escalate complex cases to the appropriate department or senior personnel
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
- Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends in order to provide the best support possible
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, software applications, and hardware components
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information in simple terms
- Experience working with customer support tools such as Zendesk or Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to empathize with customers' technical difficulties
Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred. However, candidates with relevant work experience will also be considered.
Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1100$ per month along with free visa and ticket for all nationalities.
Location:
This position is located in Porto. However, remote work options may be available depending on the candidate's location.
