Responsibilities:
- Collect and clean large datasets from various sources
- Use statistical software to analyze data and identify patterns and trends
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with team members to identify key business questions that can be answered with data
- Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of models and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders in non-technical terms
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or a related field
- Proven experience as a data mining analyst or in a similar role
- Proficient in statistical analysis tools such as R, SAS or Python
- Experience with SQL databases and data manipulation languages (DML)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle large datasets
