Librarian - Jerusalem, Israel


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Jerusalem, Israel. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, providing reference and research assistance to library patrons, and promoting library resources and services.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the library collection by cataloging, classifying, and shelving materials according to established standards.
- Assist library patrons with finding and accessing materials, answering reference questions, and providing research assistance.
- Promote the use of library resources and services by creating displays, conducting outreach activities, and developing instructional materials.
- Stay informed about current trends in librarianship and apply new techniques to improve library services.
- Collaborate with other librarians and staff members to plan programs and activities that support the mission of the library.
- Ensure that the library is clean, organized, and welcoming for all patrons.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of cataloging standards such as MARC21 or AACR2.
- Familiarity with electronic databases and information retrieval systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.
