Junior Database Administrator

We are seeking a Junior Database Administrator to join our growing team in Las Vegas. As a member of our dynamic IT department, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and management of our company's databases, ensuring data integrity and security. This is a contract position with the opportunity for growth and development within the company. No prior experience is required, but candidates must have strong communication skills in English and hold Indian nationality. Accommodation will not be provided, but a free visa and ticket to Las Vegas will be provided for the selected candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring database systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with other teams to develop database solutions that meet business needs
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (Oracle, MySQL)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Indian nationality preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
