Mason - Full Time in Karachi, Pakistan


We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, concrete blocks, and other types of masonry materials. Your main duties will include laying out patterns or foundations, mixing and laying mortar, and using hand or power tools to cut and shape materials. You may also be required to install fireplaces, chimneys, and other decorative elements.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of masonry techniques and industry safety standards. Previous experience in construction or masonry work is preferred. The ability to read blueprints and accurately measure materials is also important.

As a Mason, you will need to be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions. You must also have good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work well with others as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces for laying out patterns or foundations
- Mix mortar using the correct proportions of cement, sand, water, and lime
- Use hand or power tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, drills
- Cut or shape materials according to specifications
- Build walls, chimneys, fireplaces using different types of bricks or blocks
- Install decorative elements such as arches or cornices
- Repair cracked or damaged masonry work
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
- Knowledge of masonry techniques and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Good hand-eye coordination and teamwork skills

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
