Junior Game Developer (Braga, Portugal)


Are you a passionate gamer with a knack for coding? We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Game Developer to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a game developer, you will work on creating and developing new games for our growing library of mobile and console titles.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to create engaging and innovative game concepts
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code in C++ or Java
- Implement game mechanics, controls, AI systems, and user interfaces
- Optimize game performance for various platforms and devices
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues throughout the development process
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently enrolled as a student)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with C++ or Java programming languages
- Knowledge of mobile or console game development frameworks (e.g. Unity, Unreal)
- Passion for gaming and knowledge of popular titles across various genres
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
