Junior Android Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our team in Kaunas. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about mobile development and wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the development team to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
