Part-Time Database Administrator



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Faro, Portugal. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Design and implement database structures and standards
- Create backup and recovery plans in case of data loss or corruption
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure database design meets application requirements
- Perform regular data maintenance tasks such as data imports and exports
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive data
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL and other database languages
- Knowledge of database security best practices
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Salary: 1800$ per month
Location: Faro, Portugal
Working hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
