Metal Fabricator



As a Metal Fabricator in Bergen, you will be responsible for creating and repairing metal structures using specialized tools and equipment. You will work with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and copper, to produce high-quality products according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design specifications to determine project requirements
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, bend, and weld metal pieces
- Operate machinery such as shears, presses, grinders, and drills to fabricate metal components
- Measure and mark dimensions for accurate assembly of metal parts
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain a safe working environment by following company safety protocols

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Knowledge of various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship

Preferred qualifications:
- Trade school diploma in Metal Fabrication or related field
- Previous experience working with sheet metal or structural steel fabrication
- Familiarity with CNC machinery operation
