Fitter - Own Visa (Alta, Norway)


We are a leading industrial manufacturing company in Alta, Norway seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical equipment and structures, ensuring they are in proper working order. We are looking for someone with experience in fabrication, welding, and assembling metal parts.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
- Assemble, install and maintain mechanical equipment according to specifications
- Fabricate and weld metal parts using various tools and equipment
- Inspect machinery for faults and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise during production
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on machinery

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and techniques
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience with fabrication, welding, and assembling metal parts using various tools and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively under pressure
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
