Part-Time Web Developer

As a Part-Time Web Developer in our Lisbon-based company, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality websites and web applications. You will work closely with our team to understand business needs and translate them into functional and visually appealing designs. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other modern web technologies.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in web development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of modern web design principles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:
- Develop new website features and functionality based on business requirements
- Maintain existing websites by troubleshooting issues and implementing updates
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with designers to ensure high-quality visual designs are translated into functional code
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends
- Communicate project progress to team members and stakeholders

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of experience in web development
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal is a plus
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile optimization techniques is preferred
- Understanding of SEO best practices is a plus

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The salary for this role will be $1100 per month. Please note that accommodation will not be provided for this position.
