Assistant Construction Manager


As an Assistant Construction Manager, you will work closely with the project manager to oversee the planning, design, and construction of various projects in the city of Manama. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in managing all aspects of the construction process, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and vendors. You must have a strong understanding of construction methods and techniques, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Monitor progress and quality of construction work
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Review and approve invoices from contractors and vendors
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses and documentation
- Communicate effectively with project manager, team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Provide support for project meetings, presentations, and reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years experience in construction management or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, costs, scheduling, and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail
Salary: $900 per month

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working on construction projects in Manama. Accommodation may be provided for non-local candidates if needed.
