Senior Construction Manager
As a Senior Construction Manager, your role will be to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in Mombasa, Kenya. You will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of construction workers and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include creating project schedules, procuring materials and equipment, monitoring construction progress, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Manager
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Experience in budgeting and project management software
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Mombasa is preferred
Responsibilities:
