Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers. Your main duties will include monitoring shipments, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to coordinate logistics
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and deliveries
- Create shipping schedules and coordinate pick-up and delivery times
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure smooth loading and unloading of goods
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Continuously monitor transportation costs to identify cost-saving opportunities

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of logistics processes and procedures
- Familiarity with relevant software such as ERP systems or TMS (Transportation Management System)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Sharjah, UAE (preference for Egyptian national)

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)

Experience Level: Entry level/No experience required
