Facade Engineer



Facade Engineers are responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining the exterior facades of buildings. They play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality and aesthetics of a building's exterior. The job requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and implement innovative facade solutions for new buildings or renovation projects
- Conduct site surveys, assess structural integrity and identify potential issues
- Create detailed technical drawings and construction plans for facades
- Collaborate with architects, contractors and other professionals to ensure design feasibility and adherence to building codes
- Select appropriate materials based on performance, durability and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct tests on facade components to ensure quality standards are met
- Oversee the installation of facades and provide technical support during construction
- Monitor the performance of facades and identify maintenance or repair needs
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in materials and techniques

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in facade design or construction
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant programs
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills

Location: Sheduva

Salary: $1800 per month
