Preservation Architect

Our architectural firm is seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Ufa. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and maintaining their historical integrity. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to develop preservation plans and oversee the restoration process. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of architectural history and preservation techniques, as well as excellent project management skills. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available. Freshers are welcome to apply. No English proficiency required.

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Ufa, Russia

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and contractors
- Understanding of building codes and regulations in Russia
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Russian (English proficiency not required)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans for buildings in need of restoration or renovation
- Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with preservation plans
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and government agencies throughout the restoration process
- Inspect buildings before and after restoration to ensure historical integrity has been maintained
- Prepare reports documenting the restoration process and any changes made
- Keep up-to-date with advances in preservation techniques
- Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars related to preservation architecture
