Surveyor Assistant


Our surveying firm in Dubrovnik is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to join our team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month, suitable for students or individuals without previous experience in the field. As an assistant, you will support our surveyors in conducting land surveys and collecting data. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of surveying while working in a beautiful coastal city.

Responsibilities:
- Assist surveyors with setting up and operating equipment for land surveys
- Collect and record accurate data using various tools such as GPS, total station, and levels
- Conduct basic calculations and analysis of collected data
- Prepare maps, plans, and reports based on survey findings
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working on site
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience required, but basic knowledge of land surveying principles is preferred
- Basic understanding of mathematics and ability to perform calculations accurately
- Proficient in using computer software such as AutoCAD or GIS for map-making and data analysis
- Physically fit to work outdoors in various weather conditions and able to lift heavy equipment when necessary
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good communication skills
- Valid visa for working in Dubrovnik (free visa provided for non-citizens)
