Information Security Analyst - Part Time (Porto, Portugal)


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's data and systems, as well as identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in our systems
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data
- Monitor network activity to detect any potential security breaches
- Respond quickly to security incidents and conduct investigations when necessary
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Provide training and guidance on information security best practices to employees

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in information security or a similar role
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, encryption methods, firewalls, and other security tools
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, or PCI-DSS
- Ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
This is a part-time position that pays $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Accommodation can be provided for candidates who require it.

Nationality/Visa Requirements:
Candidates must have a valid biometric passport for travel within the EU. This position is open to students who are legally allowed to work in Portugal.
