Civil Engineer - Almada, Portugal



We are searching for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, planning and overseeing the construction of various projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess project feasibility
- Create detailed designs and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met
- Prepare cost estimates for materials and labor needed for construction
- Monitor progress and quality of construction work to ensure compliance with design plans and safety standards
- Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
