Pastry Chef
A renowned restaurant in Al Buraymi is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create new desserts and pastries for the restaurant's menu
- Ensure high quality standards are met for all pastry items
- Train and supervise other pastry staff members
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of orders
- Monitor food costs and make necessary adjustments to maintain profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry station
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, with potential for growth based on performance.
