Crane Operator - Nairobi, Kenya


We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of cranes to lift, move, and position materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine proper crane set-up and operation
- Inspect and maintain cranes before and after use to ensure safe operation
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio to ensure safe movement of materials
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols at all times
- Complete all necessary paperwork or logbooks related to crane operation

Requirements:
- Valid biometric passport (for foreign workers)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Prior experience as a crane operator preferred but not required
- Must be able to work on contract basis
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
