Power Engineer - Electrical Distribution Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Mombasa. As an Electrical Distribution Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical distribution systems for our clients. This includes conducting system analysis, making recommendations for improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical distribution systems for clients
- Conduct system analysis to determine potential improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during system operation
- Develop cost-effective solutions for clients while maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure successful project completion
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and integrate new technologies into projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in power engineering or electrical distribution systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, codes, and standards
- Experience with AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desired but not required
for non-nationals)
- Experience working in the African or Nepali market
(Not required but preferred)
- Fluency in Swahili or Nepali (Not required but preferred)

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
