Power Engineer for Renewable Energy Projects in Mombasa


We are a leading renewable energy company in Mombasa seeking a highly skilled Power Engineer to join our team and help drive our mission of providing sustainable solutions to meet the energy needs of our community. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing renewable energy projects, ensuring that they are efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and hydro power systems
- Conducting feasibility studies and site assessments to determine the most suitable renewable energy solutions for specific locations
- Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project designs meet technical specifications and environmental regulations
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and specifications for project proposals
- Overseeing project construction and commissioning to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshooting any issues with existing renewable energy systems and implementing necessary repairs or upgrades
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in renewable energy technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing renewable energy projects
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical codes, and regulations
- Experience with AutoCAD or other design software preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Willingness to work on-site in Mombasa full-time

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600/month for this position.
