Information Security Analyst

We are a leading cybersecurity firm in Los Angeles, seeking an experienced and skilled Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our company's computer systems and networks from potential cyber attacks. Your main duties will include conducting security assessments, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data.
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in information security or related field.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
- Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, etc.
- Knowledge of encryption protocols and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preference will be given to candidates who have professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
