Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Balzers, Canada. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads for our restaurant. You will work closely with our team to develop new menu items and ensure that all pastries are made to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry making and at least 3 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen. You should have strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations. Creativity and attention to detail are essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads for our restaurant
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with the team
- Ensure that all pastries are made to high quality standards
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Train junior pastry chefs on recipes and techniques
- Manage food cost control by accurately measuring ingredients
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
- Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary: $1500 per month
