We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for arranging text and images into visually appealing layouts for various printed materials such as books, magazines, and brochures. You must possess strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for design.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with editors, designers, and clients to understand the project requirements
- Choose appropriate fonts, sizes, and layouts for each project
- Arrange text and images in a visually appealing manner while maintaining readability
- Proofread and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy of the final product
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Excellent command of English language with strong grammar skills
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous typesetting work
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $1700 per month (USD)

Location: Los Angeles (Preference for Indian candidates)

Employment Type: Part-time (without accommodation)
