Job Title: Data-Mining Analyst



As a Data-Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data to identify trends and patterns. Your findings will be used to help drive business decisions and strategies. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize data mining techniques to extract relevant information from various sources
- Clean, organize and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Develop and maintain databases, data models and other systems for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Identify trends, patterns and correlations in data using statistical methods and visualizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data queries
- Communicate findings through reports, presentations or other means to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Continuously monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues and propose solutions
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in data mining

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python or other programming languages for querying and manipulating large datasets
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as R or SAS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information in a clear manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is a plus

Location: Lisbon (candidate can work remotely)
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
