Junior Accountant



We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Junior Accountant to join our team in Albena, Bulgaria. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers and a desire to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities
- Participate in internal audits as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience is not required, but some knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred
