Plasterer

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Plasterer to join our team in Mauren. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for preparing and applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. You will also be required to repair any damaged surfaces and ensure that all plastering work is completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by removing old paint or wallpaper, cleaning and smoothing the surface
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit the area
- Mix plaster according to specifications
- Apply plaster using various techniques such as troweling, spraying or spreading with a hawk and trowel
- Smooth out uneven areas and fill in any holes or cracks in the surface
- Ensure that all corners are neat and sharp
- Allow plaster to dry properly before sanding down and adding finishing touches such as paint or wallpaper
- Repair any damaged areas by patching or replacing sections of plasterboard

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Plasterer
- Knowledge of different types of plaster materials and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in Malayalam or Filipino (depending on preference)
- No prior English language skills required (for non-native speakers)
- Willingness to work without experience if necessary
