Junior Android Developer


We are in search of a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Junior Android Developer. As an Indian national, you will have the opportunity to work in the beautiful city of St-Petersburg while gaining valuable experience in the field of mobile application development. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$, and we provide accommodation for our employees.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features for our Android applications
- Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during development or testing
- Continuously research new technologies and share knowledge with the team

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON data
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing native Android applications from scratch
- Knowledge of Kotlin programming language
- Understanding of Material Design guidelines
- Familiarity with Firebase or other cloud-based services
