Head Chef
A top-rated restaurant in Hawalli is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes, as well as strong leadership skills to manage and train our kitchen staff. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1100 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently prepared
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage inventory and maintain food quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations
- Create new recipes and develop menu items based on customer preferences
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to all safety standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creativity in designing new dishes that meet customer preferences
- Valid food handling certification preferred
