Job Title: Blast Furnace Operator


As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces in a steel manufacturing plant. Your primary duties will include charging the furnace with raw materials, monitoring the furnace temperature and pressure, adjusting controls to maintain desired levels, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation and records of production and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

To excel in this role, you must have prior experience working in a blast furnace or similar industrial setting. You should possess strong mechanical aptitude and be able to read and interpret technical diagrams. Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential qualities for this position.

This position requires physical stamina as you will be required to work on your feet for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in hot environments. You must also be comfortable working in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.

As an important member of our team, we expect you to adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at all times. You must also have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional vocational training or certification in industrial maintenance or operations is preferred.
