Radio Technician


A reputable radio station in Washington is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month, and we welcome candidates of all nationalities. Fluency in English is required for this role.

As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and studio equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our broadcasting system, while also troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with radio equipment and possess strong knowledge of electronics and telecommunications. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on radio equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues with radio transmission, studio equipment, and other related systems
- Conduct repairs as needed to keep all equipment in good working condition
- Install new equipment or make modifications as directed by superiors
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with radio equipment
- Strong knowledge of electronics and telecommunications principles
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with industry-standard software used for audio production and broadcasting (such as Adobe Audition)
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English
