Junior Data Analyst - Svalbard

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our team in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to provide valuable insights to our company. The ideal candidate should have a background in data analysis or a related field, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and clean large datasets
- Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends and patterns
- Develop reports and visualizations to present findings
- Collaborate with other departments to understand data needs
- Identify areas for improvement in data collection and management processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job: This is a contract position with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.
