Information Security Analyst



Our company is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Izhevsk, Russia. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems and networks from potential threats and attacks. This role requires a strong understanding of information security principles, as well as experience with various security technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate any suspicious activity
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and networks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks
- Configure and maintain security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software
- Provide training to employees on information security awareness and best practices
- Collaborate with other teams to identify potential security risks in new projects or systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security or a related role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption techniques, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Nmap
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR or PCI-DSS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Skills:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience working in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS or Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python or Bash)

We offer competitive salary of 1300$ per month along with benefits including free visa and ticket for foreign candidates. This is a full-time position but part-time options can be considered for exceptional candidates. Freshers with relevant education and skills are welcome to apply. Canadian and Nepali candidates are preferred for this position. English language proficiency is not required for this role.
