Android Developer


We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications for the Android platform. You should have a strong understanding of the Android SDK, Java programming language, and experience with developing user-friendly and efficient mobile applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Ensure high performance on mobile devices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
- Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends related to mobile development
- Continuously improve application performance and user experience
- Work closely with designers to implement their designs into working products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android development
- Proficient in Java programming language
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills

Salary: $1300 per month

Contract job: This is a contract position without accommodation provided. However, we offer visa sponsorship for non-EU candidates.
