Cashier for Busy Retail Store in Atlanta, USA

We are seeking a friendly and hardworking Cashier to join our busy retail store in Atlanta. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving complaints
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating change
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds on occasion
