Industrial Architect

Our architectural firm in Alta is looking for a skilled Industrial Architect to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and overseeing the construction of industrial buildings and facilities. They must have a strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes. The role will require the candidate to work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the construction of industrial buildings and facilities
- Create detailed plans, blueprints, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative design solutions
- Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure project feasibility and cost-effectiveness
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Review contractor bids and make recommendations for selection
- Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project to provide updates on progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial architecture
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working on large-scale industrial projects
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of project management principles
