Senior Accountant

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Triesen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. This individual will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The Senior Accountant will also supervise junior accountants and collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results.
- Ensure compliance with all local tax laws and regulations.
- Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of expenses and revenues.
- Participate in the budgeting process.
- Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks or Sage).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify variances and make recommendations for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills.

Preferred:
- CPA or similar certification.
