Tiler/Tile Setter


We are hiring an experienced Tiler/Tile Setter to join our team in Clairvaux, Canada. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles, including ceramic, marble, and granite. You will work with different tools and materials to ensure precise and high-quality tile installations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in tiling and a strong attention to detail. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into desired shapes
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, or adhesives
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure tiles in place
- Use tools such as tile cutters, saws, and levels to ensure precise installation
- Fill gaps between tiles with grout and remove excess grout from surface
- Seal and polish installed tiles for a finished look
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked tiles
- Ensure safety measures are followed at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Tiler or Tile Setter
- Excellent knowledge of different types of tiles and their installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials/tools if necessary
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
