Office Assistant - Eldoret, Kenya
We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have basic computer skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or take messages
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Prepare meeting rooms for appointments or events
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and data entry
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
