Body Repair Master
As a Body Repair Master, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This will involve using various tools and techniques to repair structural damage, remove dents and scratches, and replace damaged parts. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all repairs meet safety standards and are completed within the specified time frame.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in body repair work
- Proficient in using various tools such as welding equipment, body filler, and paint sprayers
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles to determine extent of damage
- Identify necessary repairs and estimate costs for customers
- Remove damaged parts from vehicles using appropriate tools
- Repair structural damage using welding equipment or other techniques
- Use body filler to smooth out dents and scratches on vehicle's surface
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking off areas not to be painted
- Apply paint using proper techniques such as spraying or brushing
- Replace damaged parts such as fenders, doors, or bumpers
- Ensure that all repairs meet safety standards
- Keep workshop area clean and organized
- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle's repairs
Location: Malindi, Kenya
Salary: $1100 per month (may vary based on experience)
