Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our renowned restaurant in Muharraq, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. Your passion for culinary excellence and leadership skills will ensure that our guests receive a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the entire kitchen staff, ensuring they are trained and motivated to maintain high quality standards
- Develop and create new menus, keeping in mind customer preferences and dietary requirements
- Source and purchase high quality ingredients while maintaining cost control
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering to avoid any shortage or wastage
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and overall hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Creativity in menu planning and ability to stay updated with industry trends
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
