Dishwasher - Entry Level


As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils. Your main duties will include operating the dish machine, hand washing items as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized dish area. You will also assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and stocking supplies.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to start their career in the food service industry. No previous experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of $1600. Accommodation can be provided if needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dish machine to wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans
- Hand wash items that cannot be washed in the dish machine
- Ensure all dishes are clean and sanitized before returning them to their proper place
- Maintain an organized dish area by emptying trash regularly and keeping counters clean
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and stocking supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Location:
This position is located in Almada, Portugal. The candidate must have a valid work visa for Portugal or be eligible to obtain one.
