Smelter Operator


We are currently hiring a Smelter Operator for our smelting plant located in Zagreb. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the smelting equipment and processes to produce high-quality metal products. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and control smelting equipment to ensure the production of high-quality metal products
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols while performing tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or operational issues
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any defects or maintenance needs
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products
- Maintain accurate records of production data and report any discrepancies
- Assist with the training of new employees on smelting processes and procedures
- Adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Smelter Operator in a similar environment
- Knowledge of smelting processes, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential issues before they arise
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in a hot environment for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Technical degree or certification in metallurgy or related field is preferred but not required
- Experience working with different types of metals such as iron, aluminum, copper, etc.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques
