Job Title: Junior Accountant
We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining records, and conducting basic accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Reconciling bank statements and accounts
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Conducting basic accounting tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assisting with audits and tax filings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month, along with accommodation provided. This is a full-time position.
